Programme

Day 1

Briefing on the tour at a hotel in Rossano and dinner at a farmhouse. We will witness the Preaching of Passion and the Call of Our Lady in the Cathedral of Cassano Ionio.

Day 2

We will follow the Procession of the Mysteries in Cassano. To follow, we will contemplate the Codex Purpureus in the historical centre in Rossano and enjoy a glass of wine at Marinelli’s winery.

Day 3

We will visit the Amarelli Licorice Museum and have lunch at a farmhouse.

Day 4

We will be amazed by the “’Affruntata” event: the statues of Our Lady of Sorrows, Jesus and Saint John are carried wildly along the Calabrian streets in a great religious event of the pagan soul. Day 5

We’ll move on to Mammola and visit the MuSaBa park museum. To follow, we will enjoy delicious stockfish and then admire ancient Kaulon.

We will have lunch at a farm that processes Bergamot plants and flowers. Departure.
