Day 1

We’ll learn more about Caravaggio, one of the most famous artists in the world whose innovative talent was the base of the creation of a movement of young artists who reached Rome from every part of Europe to observe a true painting revolution. A unique talent, a genius of light but also a heart of darkness, we will retrace the genesis and the artistic development  of  Michelangelo Merisi’s (called “Caravaggio”) lyric, admiring some of his most fascinating paintings on canvas exhibited in the churches of St. Louis of the French and St. Augustine.
