Your day begins with an engaging wine lesson at the estate focused on Bolgheri—one of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions, home to the iconic Super Tuscans. You’ll explore the unique character of coastal reds through a guided tasting of top blends.
The morning culminates in a fun and interactive blind tasting game, where you’ll step into the role of a “winemaker for a day,” blending different varietals to craft your own signature wine.
In the afternoon, you’ll head to Bolgheri by private transportation to experience the region firsthand. Enjoy a traditional countryside lunch at a local winery, followed by an exclusive visit and tasting of the estate’s most celebrated wines.
Back at Podere Pietravento, your evening concludes with a hands-on Tuscan cooking class. Under the guidance of a local chef, you’ll prepare authentic regional dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients—and then gather around the table for a warm, convivial dinner to savor your creations.

This morning, you’ll set off on a journey into the heart of Tuscany’s most iconic grape: Sangiovese. At a renowned wine estate, you’ll take part in an insightful thematic lesson—“Sangiovese: Character & Terroir”—followed by a comparative tasting that reveals how this varietal expresses the nuances of different Tuscan regions.
Next, you’ll enjoy a relaxed wine-paired lunch right at the estate. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to complement and enhance the versatility of Sangiovese wines, highlighting the harmony between local food and terroir.
In the afternoon, the experience continues in Montalcino, home of the world-famous Brunello. You’ll visit a distinguished winery, explore its cellars, and take part in an exclusive Brunello tasting, discovering the elegance, depth, and aging potential that make this wine one of Italy’s finest.
You’ll return to Podere Pietravento in the evening for a well-deserved moment of relaxation and another delicious four-course dinner crafted with seasonal ingredients.
