Hidden corners in… Milan

MILAN is worldwide famous for its design – especially Fashion Design – its unique majestic white cathedral – the second largest in Italy, after St Peter in the Vatican – the Opera house, as well as the glamour of its Nightlife.

It is not a coincidence that a few famous drink brands are originally from Milan. Ramazzotti, Fernet, which are both very popular in Italy. Also, the Amaretto, the sweet liquor made from almonds and apricot bones, is not very far from here and took its name from the town when it was first produced, i.e. Saronno, halfway between Milan city centre and Malpensa airport.

However, the Milanese brand that has managed to establish itself undisputed on the world stage is Campari.

Have you tried Campari Spritz? Or the most iconic Negroni?
What’s your favorite Campari combination?

Preferably before tasting a Campari-based cocktail, we would suggest a visit to the interesting Galleria Campari – a former productioin plant – now a museum.

Did you know that was the passionate Gaspare Campari – the founder of the company –  who invented the Aperitif as we know it today?
He started offering food to accompany his drink, made precisely to stimulate the appetite, rather than disrupt it.

In the hometown where the aperitif tradition was born, the passion for cocktails never ends.
Especially within the walls of the pearl we found.

Every 6 months, the managers of the stylish Cocktail Bar we visited, travel to a different location to learn new cocktail traditions. After their explorations, they literally blend their discoveries with the local know-how to continue creating new original cocktail RECIPES for their customers.
